The Swiss foundation for culture, Pro Helvetia, is set to release its annual report outlining Swiss cultural trends on 13 June. The report, formerly presented in brochure format, details the outcomes of research undertaken by the foundation in the past year and for the first time, will be made available as an electronic document. To coincide with the release of the report, Pro Helvetia is publishing a brochure which describes the activities of the Foundation throughout the 2001 period, including essays based on the theme 'The State and Culture'. The brochure forms part of a series of reflective texts on culture, published in tandem with the annual report. A press conference on 13 June for the online launch of the report, will include speeches from the Pro Helvetia President and the Acting Director, detailing the importance of culture and politics in the development of Foundation activities.
