The Community Arts Network is the peak body for community cultural development in SA and is the principal source of advice, industry training, information and support services in the State. CAN SA is committed to providing high quality and accessible services to arts workers and community leaders to enable the expression of community cultures through the arts. We are seeking a creative, energetic, outcomes focussed Director to oversee all aspects of operations and to drive the organisation forward. Managing, motivating, developing and working with a small professional staff team will be central to achieving this. This is an autonomous role, reporting to the Board of Management and offering excellent opportunities for personal and professional development. Strong leadership and communication skills and considerable experience in the community cultural development work and/or related practice are essential to this position.
