Brisbane Powerhouse Centre for the Live Arts is seeking a new Artistic Director /CEO. Brisbane Powerhouse - Centre for the Live Arts is wholly owned by Brisbane City Council, which is committed to its ongoing cultural and financial viability. Since opening in May 2000, the Powerhouse has been generating a new sort of energy in Brisbane. A unique small scale arts center situated on the river next to New Farm Park, Brisbane Powerhouse exposes and celebrates the great diversity of the arts in Brisbane and connects it to the rest of the country and the world. The Artistic Director/CEO is responsible for the artistic program and management of Brisbane Powerhouse, and as CEO reports to the Board of Directors. We are looking for an outstanding and dynamic creative director with the experience and vision to lead the Powerhouse into the next stage of its life as the most innovative and progressive live arts centre on the Asia-Pacific rim.
