Creative New Zealand is calling for applications for its international Craft/Object Art Residency initiative. The program, for which a total of NZ$20,000 is available, is designed to assist a craft/object artist in undertaking an international residency in 2003. The residency period, location and nature of the project are to be determined by the artists in their application. Open to all craft/object art artists currently working and exhibiting in new Zealand, the funding program is intended to assist the successful applicant in covering the travel, stipend and material expenses associated with an international residency. Interested artists should submit an application to Creative New Zealand no later than April 30.
