The Australia Council's 'Some Australian Arts Statistics' draws on information from several major Australian Bureau of Statistics collections, including the 1999-2000 Service Industry Surveys and the 1999 Survey of Attendance at Selected Cultural Venues. It also contains data from a variety of other Australian Bureau of Statistics collections, including the Survey on Work in Culture and Leisure Activities and Children's Participation in Cultural Activities.
