Creative New Zealand recently announced the winner of its inaugural Artistic Excellence Award at the 2003 Montana World of Wearable Art Awards in Nelson, New Zealand. Established to acknowledge artistic excellence and provide opportunities for senior designers, the Creative New Zealand Artistic Excellence Award evolved from research undertaken by the World of Wearable Art (WOW). ‘We are very excited about our partnership with the World of Wearable Art, and it is great to see the stunning results this Award has achieved in its first year,’ said Elizabeth Kerr, CEO of Creative New Zealand.
