The CEO will be responsible to the Board of Major Brisbane Festivals for ensuring the Brisbane Festival and Riverfestival develop and thrive; for strategic management of relationships and partnerships with external organisations; and for the business and commercial development of Major Brisbane Festivals. Leadership in program and concept development will be provided by the Artistic Director who will liaise closely with the CEO. A unique position, taking responsibility for the infrastructure and development of two, and possibly more, of Australia's key festivals. The CEO will build a dynamic marketing, business development and finance team, working closely with the Board and key stakeholders. The role demands exceptional leadership and comunication skills, an awareness of cultural and environmental issues, and a strong track record in festival or event administration.
