New study surveys creative industries in Vienna

A major cultural research institute in Austria has published a comprehensive study into the economic potential of creative industries in Vienna. The study was produced by the Internationales Archiv für Kulturanalysen and was commissioned by the Vienna City Council department for EU strategy and economic development, the Vienna Chamber of Commerce and the Vienna Film Fund. It surveys the market, innovation and job potential of the creative industries in Vienna. Internationales Archiv für Kulturanalysen is a non-university institute for applied cultural research and cultural documentation founded in 1991. Applying an interdisciplinary approach, the institute documents, analyses and publicises national, European and international developments in culture, cultural policy and cultural research.
