The Australia Council for the Arts is the Australian Government’s arts funding and advisory body. It supports excellent, innovative and distinctive artistic creation, encourages all Australians to be engaged with and enriched by the arts and seeks to build a vital and viable arts sector. The Australia Council is changing and aims to have greater impact and flexibility in its role as a catalyst for the arts in Australia. We are looking for leaders to make it happen – committed, experienced, driven, articulate. The Director Key Organisations is a new position. It is the leader of the Key Organisations team with responsibility to manage and enhance business relationships with Council’s triennially funded small to medium sized organisations and undertake high quality and strategic analysis of their business performance and capability.
