Quebec has launched a new program entitled 'Investing in Culture', designed to support the growth of private investments in the culture and communication sector. The program was recently launched by Minister for Culture and Communication, Line Beauchamp and President of the Council of Arts and Letters of Quebec, Yvan Gauthier. It aims to reinforce the financing of culture and communication and to increase the share of private investments in these fields, alleviating government burden, stimulating wider economic growth (through cultural industries), and improving Quebec's arts.
