A study by Charles Landry, commissioned by Pro Helvetia and the Swiss Directorate for Development and Cooperation, has shown that culture 'moves' people. The report evaluated the work done by the Swiss Cultural Programme for Southeast Europe and the Ukraine, and has shown that arts and culture play a key role in the social development of transitioning countries.
