The UWA Perth International Arts Festival is Western Australia’s premier cultural event with a worldwide reputation for presenting an outstanding multi-arts programme of the highest international quality.

If you are an inspiring artistic leader with vision and a passion for developing the arts – a rare opportunity exists to take a great Festival to even greater heights of achievement.
Working with the Board and the General Manager, you will be responsible for providing artistic leadership that delivers a programme of international excellence. This programme should develop the Festival's audience and enhance the support it receives from individuals, Government and the corporate sector
The Board is seeking expressions of interest from people ready to take on the challenge of this position. It is expected that the new Artistic Director will be ready to commence planning presentation of the 2008 Festival by or before September 2006 and that he or she will take up tenure for up to four festivals.

·A one-page outline of a proposed approach to the direction of the Festival for the period 2008 – 2011.
