The “Concepts and Theories” section of EFAH's website is this time touching upon the issue of gender mainstreaming in culture. Authored by Juliane Alton and Sabine Benzer from the IG Kultur Vorarlberg in Austria, the text bearing the programmatic title “Creating the Change” proposes 22 measures to improve the situation of women artists and women cultural workers in the region of Vorarlberg, which we believe are highly relevant also elsewhere. A book with the same title was published recently, expanding further on the subject.
