Creative New Zealand (the Arts Council of New Zealand Toi Aotearoa) is the national arts development organisation, promoting and supporting the arts and artists in New Zealand. We are seeking to hire an Adviser or Senior level Adviser to work in our Planning, Performance and Stakeholder Relationships team based in our Wellington office.
The purpose of this position is to coordinate key planning and reporting processes and to develop and produce planning and accountability documents. This position will also support the development and maintenance of governance systems and processes, contribute to policy and research projects, and lead or contribute to projects aimed at improving organisational performance. To be successful in this role, you will have a relevant tertiary qualification and have highly developed skills and experience in:

  • Analysis and problem solving
  • Linking the strategic with the operational
  • Project management

You will also be able to demonstrate:

  • Experience and understanding of Government processes
  • Excellent relationship management skills
  • A customer service focus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

You will need to have a demonstrated commitment to the principles of the Treaty of Waitangi.
