Rainbow paper: Practice makes perfect, a learning framework for intercultural dialogue

European Cultural Foundation,
31 January 2008, Netherlands

The paper is the fruit of a year-long exchange of views involving over a hundred civil society organisations across Europe. It outlines the principles emerging from this year-long process, and sets out a work programme for the period ahead. Describing itself as ‘a learning framework for Intercultural Dialogue', the Paper cautions against the misuse of this term but states positively that ‘Intercultural Dialogue can become one of the ways we talk about and address inequality and tension.'

The paper was presented during launch of the European Year of Intercultural Dialogue (EYID) in Ljubljana, Slovenia, 7-8 January 2008 (for more on the meeting, go to http://www.mk.gov.si/en/evropsko_leto_medkulturnega_dialoga/opening_event/).
