South East Dance, the award-winning UK national dance agency, seeks a dynamic creative leader to take them forward into exciting next stages of development.

South East Dance has a growing regional, national and international reputation for excellence in community dance and the production and distribution of screen dance, with an annual turnover of one million pounds.

The post includes leading the company through an exciting period of change and development including a new capital build project with dance studios and offices in a major regeneration scheme extending Brighton's cultural quarter.  The post holder will also be responsible for developing partnerships with dance artists, companies and arts organisations in the region.

The post holder is required to demonstrate:

- Extensive knowledge of dance development issues
- A track record of strong artistic and management leadership, and people and project management skills
- A proven record of fundraising and working with local government and the private sector
- Strong competency in strategic and financial planning  
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A commitment to diversity.

Salary: £40-50k depending on experience.
