The result of a one-year consultation and discussion process, the final report of the so-called Entretiens de Valois was presented by French Minister of Culture and Communication Christine Albanel on 30 January.

The document aims to foster a new approach to state policy for the performing arts and involves recommendations regarding the governance of cultural policy, the streamlining of existing forms of support and the enhancement of mobility of artists and works.
