A press conference was held under the ‘Fare pote'e’ of the Assembly of French Polynesia (APF), under the high patronage of the Board of Education and Research of the APF, chaired by Jean Marius Raapoto.
The Minister of Culture and Crafts was present, as well as the Ministry’s services and facilities which will present the work developed at the conference. Thus, from November 14 to 18 the event "The culture of yesterday, today and tomorrow" will be held. Exhibitions, film screenings, workshops, knowledge transmission, mini conferences and round tables will be accessible to all, at the APG.
Because culture needs to evolve, the educational and cultural environments focus on promoting it now, through actions which are also intended to last into the future. Mr. Raapoto even adds that without culture, there is no development.
