Manager Private Giving and Partnerships Programme

Creative NZ - Toi Aotearoa,
04 January 2012, New Zealand

This is an outstanding opportunity to make a difference to the arts in New Zealand.  This exciting new fixed term role  is responsible for leading the delivery, monitoring and evaluation of Creative New Zealand’s three year pilot Private Giving and Partnerships Programme - which is focused on increasing private sector support and diversifying sources of income for the arts.

The role contributes to the sustainability of the arts in New Zealand by promoting the value and benefits of relationships between the private sector and the arts.

The role has a national focus and can be based in Auckland, Wellington or Christchurch, with travel required.

As a hands-on mentor, you will:

  • assist artists and arts organisations to develop stronger income streams from private sector support; and;
  • assist with the facilitation and development of mutually beneficial relationships between arts  organisations and private donors/businesses.

You will be a well networked individual with a strong background in, and understanding of, fundraising - not necessarily in the arts.
