Recognition and promotion of Azerbaijan culture is one of the primary issues of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The event on "Scientific presentation of Azerbaijan culture" will be held in the most influential Universities of Hungary Eötvös Lorand and Corvinus with the support of Azerbaijan Embassy to Hungary on February 21-22nd, 2012.
The official delegation of the ministry - Asif Usubaliyev (Head of Science Division of the Ministry), Ilham Mammadzada (Director of the Institute of Philosophy, Sociology and Law at Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences) and Ilham Najafov (Senior Lecturer at Azerbaijan National Conservatory) will be sent to Hungary.
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Hungary Mr. Vilayat Guliyev as well as students, teachers and professors of Eötvös Loránd and Corvinus Universities will participate at the event, where the lectures and debates on a wide range of topics as "Strategic priorities of cultural policy of Azerbaijan", "International scientific cooperation and development of social sciences", "Music culture of Azerbaijan" will be discussed.
In addition, negotiations will be conducted with the head of Eötvös Loránd University in order to establish department of “Azerbaijan culture” within the higher education institution.
