Cultural and artistic activities to mark 40 years of Vietnam-Luxembourg diplomatic ties

A series of cultural and artistic activities will be held from June 17-21, 2013 to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Vietnam-Luxembourg diplomatic ties and 20 years of development partnership.

Apart from the Vietnam tourism development programme to be broadcast on VTV2 and VTV4 channels on June 21st and forum on banking and finance on June 18th, many artistic and cultural activities will be held by the Luxembourg Embassy in Vietnam and Vietnam’s Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

On June 19, a performance by “Sun Glitters” of Luxembourg, in combination with Luxembourg modern dancer Sylvia Camarda and Vietnamese artist Tran Xuan Hoa, will take place at the Youth Theatre (11 Ngo Thi Nham stree)

On June 20, a modern dance performance by Luxembourg artist Sylvia Camarda, Vietamese artist Mai Lan and dancers from the Youth Theatre will also be held at the Youth Theatre.

On June 21, a special concert with the participation of Hanoi Symphony Orchestra and Luxembourg pianist Francesco Tristano, under the instruction of conductor Le Phi Phi.

During a press conference announcing the activities to mark 40 years of establishing diplomatic relations between Vietnam – Luxembourg, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism's International Cooperation Department Director Nguyen Van Tinh said that through the cultural activities, Vietnam’s public will have opportunity to to more fully explore Luxembourg.
