The meeting will be an opportunity for board members to address a number of important developments and activities, including:

• Final preparations for the 6th World Summit on Arts and Culture to be held on 13-16 January in Santiago, Chile, and for a number of IFACCA events that will be held just prior to or immediately following the Summit, including the CEO Leadership Seminar, General Assembly and Regional Chapter meetings;
• The framework and timeline for reviewing the 2012-2014 strategic plan and developing the 2015-2017 strategic plan in consultation with members;
• The progress on the research program and the range of projects currently underway; and
• A new digital strategy including plans for a more dynamic website which will provide more effective relationship management and information provision for CEOs, members and the broader arts community.

While in Edinburgh, Board members will also participate in the 9th Meeting of European members of IFACCA, also hosted by Creative Scotland and a Symposium on Freedom of Expression.
