The Vice President, Mr Paa Kwesi Amissah-Arthur, has urged the Chiefs and people of Greater Accra to use festivals to promote development in the region. Speaking at the first Homofest and the World Tourism Day celebration organised by the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts in Accra, the Vice President observed that the country had used culture as a driving force to accelerate socio-cultural, economic and environmental advancement in the communities, towns and regions.
