Senate’s First Deputy in a meeting yesterday with Minister of Information and Culture Abdul Bari Jahani discussed a range of complaints received by senate.
In the meeting attended also by head of senate’s judicial and legislative commission Mawlavi Mahiuddin Munsif, Senate’s first deputy Mohammad Alam Ezedyar while sharing a range of complaints of the MoIC considered role of mass media as significant in brightening of the people’s minds, expressing hope that the government and private media should pay consideration to national interests and respecting to Islamic and national values in their publication and broadcasting policies. Following, Minister Jahani while praising National Assembly in particular senate for their overall support promised the discussed complaints would be necessarily addressed in accordance to the country’s laws.
