The Federal Council adopted the sixth report of Switzerland on the implementation of the European Charter for Regional or Minority Languages. The report makes reference to the development of language policy in Switzerland and treated in particular the promotion of multilingualism in the federal administration, language teaching in primary school and the new support measures in connection with the Cultural Embassy from 2016 to 2020.
