Bristol Visual Arts Review

Arts Council England,
27 March 2018, England

In June 2017, the Arts Council identified a strategic need to achieve a sustainable, long term step change in visual arts in Bristol and set aside £3.34 million towards this aim for 2018-22.

We appointed James Lingwood, co-director of Artangel, and Godfrey Worsdale, director of the Henry Moore Foundation, to lead a review addressing the future of the visual arts in Bristol. James and Godfrey are leaders of national and international stature, and we are extremely pleased to have been able to call on their expertise. The brief for the review was to identify a proposition, or set of potential options, to transform the future of visual arts in Bristol over the period 2018-22.
