MeToo movement reaches Cannes as stars protest on red carpet

82 women took part in the protest on the red carpet for the Cannes film festival, representing the 82 female directors whose films have been selected for the festival since it began in 1946. In contrast, more than twenty times as many men, have had the same honour.
