Based on a measure of the Government of the Republic of Croatia aimed at preserving jobs among employers who have been affected by the special circumstances of COVID-19 pandemic economic activity, the Ministry of Culture invites entrepreneurs from the cultural and creative sector as well as persons who perform their activity independently within the cultural and creative sector. and who themselves make compulsory insurance contributions (pension and health insurance) according to the amounts for the compulsory insurance contributions determined by the Tax Administration, such as Freelance artists, journalists etc, who are due to circumstances such as cancelling cultural events, events, performances, concerts, exhibitions, festivals etc. remain without regular sources of revenue, to apply to a Croatian institute of Employment support for the preservation of jobs totalling HRK 5 billion.
