The conference was chaired by Mr. Thong Khon, Cambodian Minister of Tourism, with the participation of the Ministers of ASEAN member countries and the delegation of ASEAN Ministers and Lim Jock Hoi. Attending the conference on the side of Vietnam were Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Le Quang Tung.
At the meeting, the Secretary-General of ASEAN spoke about the measures and mechanisms to cope with the COVID-19 pandemic being implemented in the region, and proposed next steps for the tourism industry.
