In the request for advice, State Secretary Uslu asks the Council, among other things, to zoom in on issues relating to ownership, management and restitution in the context of involuntary loss of possession. It also explicitly asks for attention to be paid to the wishes and interests of the countries previously colonised by the Netherlands and what possibilities there are for international cooperation.
