National Commission on Culture and the Arts (NCCA) opened on Friday its nominations for the recognition of the Order of National Artists. The Order is the highest national recognition that can be awarded to Filipinos who have made significant contributions in their field.
...Living awardees will receive a minimum cash prize of P200,000, net taxes, a minimum lifetime personal monthly stipend of P50,000, medical and hospitalization benefits not exceeding P750,000 per year, among other incentives.
