The 5th World Summit on Arts and Culture was co-hosted by the Australia Council for the Arts and the International Federation of Arts Councils and Culture Agencies (IFACCA). The Summit theme was Creative Intersections; speakers explored the role of government policy in creating intersections between the arts and other sectors, and the benefits of these to the community. The event was attended by 501 delegates from 72 countries.
