Branch/Division Film and Television Office, NSW Agency Preamble The FTO plays a critical development role for the NSW film and tv industry and has a number of programs of assistance including project development, production investment, a young filmmakers fund, and support for industry & audience development. Job Classification Clerk, grade 11/12 Location Sydney CBD, Sydney Employment Status Permanent Full-Time Vacancy Ref Position Number 05/18 Closing Date Friday, 13 January 2006 Total remuneration package to: $108,058.00 ($84,678.00-$97,931.00) Provides strategic & expert advice to the Board, CEO & staff on financial & budgetary issues, corporate governance & film distribution matters. Develops & implements systems including Government & statutory reporting, financial systems & procedures. Selection Criteria Extensive experience in the areas of financial management and general administration. Highly developed management, planning and delegation skills. Demonstrated experience in effective human resources and industrial relations management. High-level analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills. Experience in handling corporate governance issues. High-level understanding of the implementation and maintenance of IT systems, including database and mail server systems. Some understanding of the film and television industry, especially distribution. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including interpersonal and negotiation skills. Good knowledge of NSW Public sector policies and practices and relevant government policy, direction and objectives, particularly in relation to public accountability, continuous improvement and provision of customer service. Relevant tertiary qualifications (eg Management or finance), or equivalent.
