General Manager, Strategic Marketing and Communications

Arts Victoria is a division of the Department of Premier and Cabinet. It implements Victorian Government arts policy, Creative Capacity. A new executive level position of General Manager, Strategic Marketing and Communications has been established in Arts Victoria to provide leadership in marketing and communications for Arts Victoria, the arts agencies, and broader portfolio. The executive will be responsible for strategic oversight of marketing and communications programs to raise awareness and patronage of the arts and cultural events. The position will be responsible for leading customer strategy and research, and marketing collaborative relationships across the Victorian Government and with key stakeholders. The executive will complement and extend the marketing expertise of Arts Victoria and the arts agencies, and work with the Strategic Communications Unit in the Department of Premier and Cabinet to ensure alignment with whole of government branding and communications strategies.
