Employment Status Permanent Full-Time Vacancy Ref Job Reference No MFA06/018 Total remuneration package to: $141,427.00 ($120,070.00-$128,537.00) Total remuneration package includes employer’s contribution to superannuation and leave loading. The Director, Arts Development is responsible for managing policy development and administration of the Government's programs of assistance for the arts and cultural heritage in NSW. Selection Criteria Ability to work at an executive level, and across a broad range of artform areas, drive the achievement of policy objectives and ensure responsive program support services. Ability to work with and represent the concerns of arts companies and other cultural organisations. Ability to manage a substantial and complex grants program and budget. Demonstrated experience in policy formulation and provision of strategic advice. Demonstrated ability to identify & broker effective partnerships between the arts, other levels of government and with State Government agencies. Clear understanding of the challenges facing the arts and cultural heritage sectors. Ability to deal with financial management and industry support programs for individual arts companies and the sector more widely. Superior judgement, communication, interpersonal, project management, change management and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated ability in identifying and acting on issues that affect the implementation of EEO principles Demonstrated ability in identifying and acting on issues that affect the implementation of ethical practices.
