We are also delighted to welcome two new affiliate members:Manitoba Arts Council, Canada, an arm's-length agency of the Province of Manitoba, established in 1965 'to promote the study, enjoyment, production and performance of works in the arts'. Sharjah Museums Council, United Arab Emirates (UAE), which was established at the beginning of 2006 to integrate and enhance the programs of the museums of the Sharjah area of UAE.
