The Australia Council’s new partnership with the Queensland University of Technology's ARC Centre of Excellence for Creative Industries and Innovation (CCI) has borne its first fruit. The organisations have released Creative Workforce: Rethinking Arts and Education, a study of contemporary thinking on arts education and its potential to boost creative thinking in the workplace. “The report provides a review of published arts education literature designed to inform policy, present evidence, and identify major gaps of research in this area,” said Claire Duffy, the Australia Council’s Director of Strategy. “It outlines how the literature needs to connect to contemporary approaches to education for a creative workforce and creative entrepreneurship.” For more information, and a full copy of the report, CLICK HERE
