The blog can be found at http://bloguedacultura.blogspot.com and was recently created by the Ministério da Cultura and the Secretaria de Cultura de Estado to promote their cultural policies. The MC’s blog expects to become a space to reflect on culture and arts; a space open to creativity, open to public manifests and debates; a space for communication.
The Minister of Culture, Gabriela Canavilhas highlighted, when presenting the blog, that it “is essential to create alternative information vehicles, without intermediaries, where current culture and policy matters of the MC are discussed in a more direct manner”. She also stated that in spite of its informal tone, it will not stop being the Ministério da Cultura’s institutional vehicle for cultural and political information.
