During the opening ceremony words were given by the Minister of Education and Culture, Ricardo Ehrlich; the Minister of Transportation, Enrique Pintado; the Director of Culture of the Ministry of Education and Culture, Hugo Achugar, and Diego Cánepa, representing the Presidency. Among the guests were representatives of a wide variety of public and private institutions, fact that goes to show the various links the Institute has been creating.
