Parliamentary Secretary for the Arts Michael Danby MP has launched ArtsReady, an initiative of Creative Australia, with $3.4 million funding over four years for the establishment of the program.

The program would promote a variety of accredited pathways for individuals aspiring to a range of creative, technical and management careers in the arts and related industries.

ArtsReady will provide new school-based and on-the-job training opportunities for young people with an interest in arts and culture, providing employment pathways for young people wishing to enter the arts and related industries as well as transferable skills that could be applicable for jobs in other industries.
