The aim of the Living and Community Culture is to bring art and culture to all parts of the country.
"There is a governmental plan for art and culture to become a common good for all the people in El Salvador. This is a human right like health and education," said César Pineda.
He also said that the government will work for art and culture to become the daily bread of the people in El Salvador, "it is a priority for this government and the secretary to bring art and culture to all parts of the country and eliminate the stigma that houses of culture currently have, "he said.
"What we want to do is to have a public consultation with women, youth, old people and above all with those sectors that are marginalized, forgotten or excluded from the society. We want them to become empowered by the House of Culture, which will no longer be for the community, but belong to the community and the people, "said Pineda.
Also, Eunice Payés said that there is a change in the concept of culture, which is part of the Living and Community Culture including the non-formal training, which is practiced in the community and allows the young and the adults to express themselves and be part of a cultural activity.
