The Borak Arts Series, an arts conference for creative practitioners and business leaders were held on 22-23 November 2014 at MAP KL, Publika, Kuala Lumpur Malaysia.
The event was presented by My Performing Arts Agency (MYPAA), a privately owned arts agency in Malaysia together with the National Department for Culture and Arts, Ministry of Tourism and Culture Malaysia and with the support from Sime Darby Foundation. With a theme on Building Knowledge Capacity in Funding and Mobility, the conference that took place for 2 days has updated participants on new ideas and tools to encourage cultural mobility and overcoming financial woes and create alliances towards building a conducive performing arts ecosystem in Malaysia.
