The Canada Council for the Arts recently announced that its making big changes in how it spreads arts funding across the country. Though the details on how the new system will work have yet to be shared with the public, council director Simon Brault spoke with the Vancouver Provinces Peter Darbyshire and expanded on the general thrust of the changes principally, streamlining the bureaucratic glut of programs into a smaller and more manageable number.
