Several activities for students in different educational levels will take place in public libraries in order to promote the importance of reading. These activities will include some of the works of author Alberto Masferrer.

On Tuesday 14 April there will be a literacy workshop at the Public Library of Usulutan in order to encourage students to read short stories of Alberto Masferrer and then apply different methodologies to rewrite it and this way develop their own creativity.

While on Wednesday 15 April at the National Library in San Salvador Francisco Gavidia, there will be readings and a creative workshop on animated characters especially for children.

All activities will be led by author Cecilia Castillo from the Culture Secretariat.
