El 2 de febrero, Audrey Azoulay, directora general de la UNESCO, comunicó al presidente Pedro Sánchez en La Moncloa que se eligió Barcelona para ser la sede de la tercera Conferencia Mundial sobre Políticas Culturales y Desarrollo Sostenible Mondiacult, que se celebrará durante el segundo semestre del año 2025.
