A strategic vision for culture is an essential element for democracy and for the future of the country. It is in this context that the realization of a genuine public policy on culture, which presents itself as structured and lasting, is imperative. 

In this sense, the Council of Ministers met today in the library of the National Palace of Mafra and approved a set of diplomas that reinforce the priority given by the Government to the cultural and artistic sector, valuing the professionals that make up the sector and Portuguese artistic and cultural heritage.
