The European Union has launched a project to support the cultural and creative sectors in the Balkans region and promote peaceful relations and socio-economic development.
The new initiative, 'Culture and Creativity for the Western Balkans (CC4WBs)' will be be implemented by UNESCO, the British Council and the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation and aims to:
- foster the mobility of artists and cultural operators
- strengthen the safeguarding, management and promotion of cultural heritage
- support sustainable growth of the cultural and creative industries.
